Two names, one chemical, and a pill collecting diagnoses
Mounjaro and Zepbound are both tirzepatide. The second name opens a second insurance door. Foundayo is approved for weight, and Lilly is studying it for a much longer list.
Compounded and research are different paperwork on a shared bulk market
Compounded GLP-1s and research vials are not the same product. Import records show the same foreign bulk ingredients filed under both descriptions, and the testing words used to separate them are often not a legal standard.
Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide after the shortage
After the FDA ended the tirzepatide and semaglutide shortages, a 2025 secret-shopper study still found most clinics offering compounds.
Lilly's pen is the base. Salt is a different label.
Mounjaro lists tirzepatide, not a tirzepatide salt. The FDA says approved semaglutide is the base, and that sodium and acetate salts are different ingredients.
Who is selling compounded GLP-1s, and who actually got a letter
Four prescriptions a month is the pharmacy's count, not the patient's. Med spas and 503B facilities are not inside that line. FDA warning letters number about a hundred. The sellers number in the thousands.
The July 2026 peptide vote is not an FDA approval
MedPage and Pharmacy Times counted the July 2026 peptide votes. Both say a committee recommendation is not FDA approval.
Brenipatide is the list. Eloralintide is the E.
Lilly is studying two different unapproved drugs. Brenipatide is the long-acting GIP/GLP-1 on the alcohol, smoking, and mood list. Eloralintide is the amylin agonist. This shop sells neither.
Where a prescribed under-the-skin shot actually goes
