How to Store Research Peptides: Powder, Mixed Vials and Shipping
Most research peptides arrive lyophilized, which means freeze-dried into a powder. In that form they're far sturdier than a liquid.
Before mixing
- Keep vials cold, dark and dry. A fridge works for most; a freezer for long-term storage.
- Leave the cap sealed until you need the vial.
- Let a cold vial reach room temperature before opening, so moisture doesn't condense inside.
After mixing
- Keep it refrigerated. Don't freeze it.
- Keep it out of light.
- Label the vial with the date you mixed it.
In the mail
A few days in transit at normal temperatures is fine for dry powder. Put your vials in the fridge when they arrive.
